Ren Stanley asks: Dreaming of Level floors and gas tank dimensions. To measure the dimensions needed for volume you simply multiply and divide by 231.
Length X Width X Heigh= x/231.
It has been my experience that pickup tubes sometimes do not pick up all the gas in tank (depending on who builds them) I measure for at least 2-3 gallons over target volume.
This one will be 31″ long, 20 wide” and 15″ tall=40.26 gallons ( i want a 35 gallon capacity.) I encourage anyone to check my math cause its relatively important🤓.
