Jordan Schreidell asks: I have an 03′ 50 HP Mercury Outboard (2 stroke): Ran out of the keys and stalled and died twice throughout the day. Went out of Port Everglades Friday and was worse. Replaced fuel filter/water seperator last night and ran it on the ears- even worse. Motor ONLY stalls and dies when at idle speed and low RPMS (about 1500). When I give it throttle or run full speed in gear it runs like a champ. Any idea of what it can be? Sounds like its starving for fuel but ONLY when the motor is at very low speed or idle. (Also sounds like its starving for fuel when i try to start it but not always) TIA
